The crash killed Kennedy. Kennedy was taken to Clarke County Hospital by Clarke County EMS.

Bethannie Kennedy, age 22, from Osceola, Iowa was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Tracker. It was towed by Eastside Towing. Charles Onyett, age 71, from Leon, Iowa was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. It was towed by Eastside Towing.
