Rosa Villagomez Killed in a Crash on November 30, 2018 in Monona County, Iowa

Rosa Garcia Villagomez of Denison, Iowa was killed in a crash on Friday, November 30th 2018 at 4:48 am in Monona County, Iowa. Villagomez was 36 years old.

VEHICLE TWO (THE 2007 NISSAN MAXIMA DRIVEN BY LUIS CAMPOS) WAS TRAVELING WEST BOUND ON E16 WHEN IT STRUCK VEHICLE ONE (THE 2005 DODG RAM 1500 DRIVEN BY LINDA BAKER) VEHICLE ONE WAS HAVING MECHANICAL PROBLEMS AT THAT TIME AND HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN TRAVELING EAST BOUND THE PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION SHOWS VEHICLE ONE WAS POSSIBLY PARTIALLY IN THE WEST BOUND LANE OF TRAFFIC THIS ACCIDENT IS CURRENTLY STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION THE IOWA STATE PATROL WAS ASSISTED BY MONONA COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE, MAPLETON RESCUE, AND MACS TOWING

Injuries

The crash killed Villagomez. Villagomez was taken to Mercy in Sioux City by Mapleton Rescue.

Vehicle Damage

Linda Baker, age 46, from Kiron, Iowa was driving a 2005 Dodg Ram 1500. It was towed by Macs Towing. Luis Campos, age 26, from Denison, Iowa was driving a 2007 Nissan Maxima. It was towed by Macs Towing.
