Richard Bigge Injured in a Crash on July 12, 2017 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa

Richard Bigge of Omaha, Nebraska was injured in a crash on Wednesday, July 12th 2017 at 5:57 am in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Bigge is 49-years-old.

DRIVER OF VEHICLE ONE (THE 2017 FREIGHTLINER SEMI DRIVEN BY KULDIP SINGH) WAS EB AND HEARD A NOISE FROM HIS TRAILER AND MOVED TO THE RIGHT TO STOP AND CHECK THE SOUND. VEHICLE TWO (THE 2013 VOLVO SEMI DRIVEN BY RICHARD BIGGE) WAS EB AT THE 10.5 MILE MARKER AND OBSERVED LIGHTS IN FRONT OF HIM. HE RAPIDLY APPROACHED AND REALIZED VEHICLE ONE WAS IN THE RIGHT LANE, UNIT 2 THEN BRAKED AND ATTEMPTED TO AVOID THE COLLISION, UNIT 2 STRUCK THE RIGHT REAR OF UNIT 1 WITH THE FRONT LEFT OF THE TRAILER OF UNIT 2 BOTH VEHICLES CAME TO REST IN THE EB LANES

Injuries
