An unnamed 8 year old person was injured in a crash on Saturday, July 15th 2017 at 2:31 pm in Van Buren County, Iowa.

VEHICLE ONE WAS EASTBOUND ON HWY 2 AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE GRAVEL SHOULDER CAUSING THE DRIVER TO OVER CORRECT AND LOSE CONTROL THE MARINER ENTERED THE NORTH DITCH AND ROLLED INTO THE CORN FIELD COMING TO REST ON ITS WHEELS THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN BY A 26 YEAR OLD ADULT FEMALE WHO WAS PRONOUNCE DEAD AT THE SCENE ONE ADDITIONAL FEMALE FIVE YEARS OLD WAS TRANSPORTED TO VAN BUREN COUNTY HOSPITAL

Injuries
The crash injured the unnamed person. The person was taken to the University of Iowa hospital.
